Depending on the nature of the product, location and use, the frequency of visits made in a service contract varies from two to six visits per year. A newly installed product covers maintenance under the warranty, and as soon as the warranty expires, it is the responsibility of the elevator owner either to extend with the current service provider or to look for an alternative supplier. In accordance with legal requirements, your elevator cannot operate unless it is certified safe and must be inspected at least twice a year by a competent person, but a service plan should be established, tailored to the needs of your equipment, either monthly, quarterly or six months, depending on the age and use of your equipment.
